No. Per NCAA rules, we are not allowed to hold any spaces for campers. All camps are filled on a first come - first serve basis. Your application and deposit must be received by the camp director for you to be accepted and registered into the camp.
No, camp registration is only taken on-line to ensure we are following the NCAA rules for boosters or people of outside interest paying for camp. This also ensures that we do not accept checks in the event that one would bounce and a camper might receive something outside of NCAA regulations.
Camp will NOT be canceled. We have access to many of the athletic facilities at LSU. We have plenty of indoor space, which include batting cages and the indoor football facility. We also can use the URec’s indoor facilities.
No. You no longer need anything signed by the doctor. You only need to sign the online Liability Waiver during on-line registration.
The campers are always divided into teams by age. Campers will be competing against other campers of similar age and abilities. This policy applies at all of our camps.
The campers that choose to stay overnight participate in additional nightly activities, which are typically softball related. Overnight campers will be provided with all the standard amenities you will find in a hotel. Overnight campers DO NOT need linens or pillows.
No. It is solely up to the parents. Parents decide whether or not their child can handle the responsibilities of being an overnight camper. We want to make staying at the hotel an enjoyable experience.
Yes. Just request the specific roommate(s) on the "roommate request" space provided during the on-line application process.
Our camp director, who is certified in CPR will always reside in the hotel during camps, along with out of town coaches. Also, a coach is assigned a group of no more than 10 campers. We have a set curfew each night for "lights out" and a room check will be done by the camp director/coaches. In addition, our coaches monitor the halls. "Tiger Cub" campers (4-6yr) commute in daily and do not receive meals. "Full day" campers commute in daily, receive lunch, and are dismissed at 4pm. Overnight campers receive breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Campers should bring the following items: glove, cleats, tennis shoes, practice pants, shorts, and a hat. If possible, catchers should bring their catching gear and participants should bring their bat. We require all campers to label their items! "Overnight" campers can bring any toiletries that might be needed. Also, bring swimming attire for late evening activities.
Ipods, Ipads, Computers, Large Amounts of Money, Firearms, Knives, Firecrackers, Alcohol, Drugs, or any other illegal items. Campers will be responsible for their own items and we would rather them not walk away. Any campers found with any illegal items will be removed from camp immediately.
Yes. However, if she is an "overnight" camper the camp director will take up the car keys until the conclusion of camp. The keys will be returned at the end of the camp session or if there is an emergency that requires the use of the camper's vehicle.
Yes, there is a $150 non-refundable fee up till 2 weeks before camp begins. After 2 weeks no money will be returned due to the hiring of staff and rental of facilities. If an emergency arises we can cancel the registration and roll it into a future camp.
