FAQs – Helpful answers to frequently asked questions

Can you hold my place in the camp until I have a chance to send in my application?

No. Per NCAA rules, we are not allowed to hold any spaces for campers. All camps are filled on a first come - first serve basis. Your application and deposit must be received by the camp director for you to be accepted and registered into the camp.

Do you accept walk-ups at registration?

No, camp registration is only taken on-line to ensure we are following the NCAA rules for boosters or people of outside interest paying for camp.  This also ensures that we do not accept checks in the event that one would bounce and a camper might receive something outside of NCAA regulations.

What will happen if it rains?

Camp will NOT be canceled. We have access to many of the athletic facilities at LSU. We have plenty of indoor space, which include batting cages and the indoor football facility.  We also can use the URec’s indoor facilities.

No. You no longer need anything signed by the doctor. You only need to sign the online Liability Waiver during on-line registration.

How many counselors are in the hotel with the campers?

Our camp director, who is certified in CPR will always reside in the hotel during camps, along with out of town coaches. Also, a coach is assigned a group of no more than 10 campers.
